Forgive Us
After being exiled for coming out, a man returns to his childhood home hoping to make peace with the family he left behind. The family waiting for him is not the one he remembers.
Story
David returns home carrying years of anger and resentment. He hopes to make amends and leave the past behind, but the family that welcomes him back has changed in ways he could not have anticipated.
Role
I produced, shot, and edited the film through Pineapple Cut Pictures, working across development, production, post, and festival release.

Selected by festivals including Palm Springs ShortFest, Sidewalk Film Festival, and Brooklyn Horror Film Festival.
Campaign
The film was financed through a Seed&Spark campaign run in partnership with Film Impact Georgia. The campaign raised $15,160 from 121 supporters toward a $40,000 production budget.
