Story
Written and directed by Alex Woodruff, Thomasville stars Jay Jones (P-Valley) and Stephen Ruffin (Snowfall) as a father and son reckoning with a fractured history tied to Atlanta's Thomasville Heights, gentrification, and the city's Red Dog policing era, almost entirely from inside a rain-soaked car outside a hospital.
Role
I produced, shot, and edited the film through Pineapple Cut Pictures, working alongside director Alex Woodruff from development through distribution.
Status
Winner, Best Drama at the Oscar-qualifying San Jose International Short Film Festival and the Best Black Cinema Short Audience Choice Award at the Oscar-qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival. Executive produced by Goodie Mob. Currently unreleased and seeking distribution.
